Motif	Gustav Vasa (også kalt Gustav I, egentlig Gustav Eriksson) (1496-1560), var konge av Sverige fra 6. juni 1523 til sin død i 1560. Gustav Vasa gjorde opprør mot Kalmarunionen, han avskaffet valgmonarkiet og innførte arverett til den svenske tronen. Han tilhørte huset Vasa, det første fyrstehuset som regjerte Sverige som ett forent rike med arvelig suksesjon. w.p. Gustav Vasa (also called Gustav I, really Gustav Eriksson) (1496-1560), was king of Sweden from 6 June 1523 until his death in 1560. Gustav Vasa revolted against Kalmar Union, he abolished the election monarchy and introduced inheritance rights to the Swedish throne . He belonged to the house Vasa, the first ruler of the house, who ruled Sweden as one united kingdom hereditary succession. W. P.
