Motif	Deretter tok Skade en eiterorm og festet den over hodet på Loke, slik at eiteret dryppet ned i ansiktet hans. Men Sigyn, Lokes kone, tok et fat og holdt under eiterdråpene. Da skålen var full, gikk hun og tømte den, og da fikk Loke giften i ansiktet. Hver gang det skjedde, rykket han til så hardt at jorden skalv. Det er dette som kalles jordskjelv.
